If you’re new to the sport or a veteran, there is stuff in here for you! If you’re a triathlete racing in Texas, there is stuff in here for you!

You are probably reading this because you are related to me, are dating me or are on my racing team and I could personally send you a social media message about this new website. If someone sent a link your way already and you are here and don’t me know me, well this is already going better than I planned, so thanks!  (Now Don’t stop reading please).

Why does this website exist? The simple answer –  to be a Texas-specific triathlon resource. For as big as Texas is, we don’t have web resources focused specifically on Texas training and racing.  In the grand scheme of things, I am fairly new to the sport/hobby of triathlon. I started in the spring of 2014 when I said “oh crap I need to get in shape” and then saw some ad somewhere for a triathlon. Knowing nothing about triathlon, (was this a shooting sport?  No that was biathlon someone told me, minus the swim, biking and running and with ski’s) moments after registering for my race, my next “oh crap” moment was how do I do this?  I had a gym membership, so I could learn to bike by going to spin classes, I did some swimming decades ago and could figure that out again (like riding a bike isn’t it?), and there were enough YouTube videos on how to run.

Welcome!
